and follow one currency - so it doesnt really matter where you earn... ha ha that is cool....oh wow, I really wish - no wars amongst countries & peace all along...

This is practically achievable. At least sci-fi novels says so. But what are the motives and what are the implications?

Do you want to make a world without any world wars? Want to see world peace? Believe me that will not happen. People like to compete. They want to make groups. To do that they will dig out differences between each other. Thats a psychology that every community will have.

Ultimately what will happen is this - instead of blaming 100 governments for not keeping a peaceful earth, we will blame just one government (Brought to power, mostly by, ourselves)

that is an interesting concept - forced equality.. perhaps having one govt cannot come in that category.. for it would still be a sort of democracy... but on the other hand, yes, lot of people would resist it cuz it implies a sort of mixing of all races (in time) so that no separate race exists... what happens to one's sense of individuality then, i wonder.

the point is to have single co-operative government structure

and we have all these to tackle...

let's go one by one:

1. Race > one of the points of individuality

for indentifying ourselves... we need to still use the countries... the language and all that...
"Race" will still be there... this is not going touch that area... 'cause that touches other sensitive issues... religion for example.. and we're not talking about that here at all

2. Competition > the "Us vs Them" thing
yes... this is a serious issue... after all it's human to be the better one in the lot... we need to think a lot here...
may be i can add one point... we have to start from identifying the resources different countries need... and the places they're available... then chart out who does what...

resources: this can mean anything...

this is only one... there's going to be such points to be covered

we should remember this:
this is about multilateral agreement...
not a single forced government, for this would then become dictatorship. When u force, equality looses it's meaning

we will still have governments and kingdoms
federation and democracy and communism will still be there...

it's about how we all start to interact with each other in a postive way...
the basic motto of all humans is to be happy in their own way...

may be the zeroth step towards this will be a co-operative society of different organisation, unlike the UN - which is an union of countries, this will be an society of organisations all existing organisations including the UN will be a member here...

i am talking about a process which will be happening for almost a century... but what we should do now is simple... take the first step...

u need not have a flood light to climb the stairs. a candle will do.

That's something to chew on.

But interfacing between the existing governments/sovereigns will be tough.

If we are talking about different world organizations looking after different socio-economic needs of the world....there's still going to be power-play. Issues like 'which country is in control of which organizations' still exist and will always be there.

But yes....it will be the first tentative step ahead.

Organizations like UN, WTO, WHO can still co-exist as they have distinct functionality. But some redundant ones like G8 and D8 forums will have to cease.
