Wonderful Digital SLR cameras. Canon 300D (Also known as canon Digital Rebel) is generally the best pick by many people. It is light weight and small(est in its category) with good availability of lenses.

But K100D has image steabilization built in with camera (not with lense) So you can buy very inexpensive lenses.

If you are a home user who carries camera when going for a family outing. Have Canon.

But if you are a serious user who would like to buy lenses and have limited cash go for a Pentax.

Canon for me. I would prefer the 350D though.
