Branded garments are durable and more comforatble to wear.The price ofcourse may be little more than that of the simple garment,but "quality demands cost". The look and feel given by the brands can never be felt with the simple garments..

i'm assuming what u mean by simple is unbranded! I agree, brands can give u a certain quality. but mostly, its about making a statement.

I remember buying a lot of quality stuff from non-branded garment stores while buying bad ones from branded outlets too which had faded too quick, even when washing instructions were followed or zipper/buttons coming out earlier than you would expect... from my own earlier experiences.

I prefer to buy lots of T-shirts/tops/skirts/shirts from the non-branded stores so you could get lots of varieties for less price and anyways I wouldnt want it to last for more than a year or so... Jeans I think best is popular brands so that you want to keep it for a longer time and use it for few yrs (unless size changes)

as for the look and feel its basically your creativity/ choices to mix and match and how you carry yourself etc... can have great dressing sense even without spending too much on branded stuff...
