Most Bollywood movies release a remix version of certain numbers that they think is going to be popular. though they're nice in discs and all, they often sound like a skewed version of the original. the original is so much better. there's a song, 'Laree choote' from the movie 'Ek chalis ki last local', which is a good example....

Something original is definitely appreciable but remix brings out a lot of good things too, like icing & toppings on the cake - add choco chips/cherries/strawberries/pineapples, and you do the wrong one - you spoil the whole of it! (Pardon me, my comparisons are always with food! :p)

Remix is a welcome trend. Remixed songs are atleast popular than the original sometimes. I've actually went back and listened to the original ones after I liked the Remixed ones.
