How do you muv for one when you want to see both...
Both are famous for its 'racist' potrayals as per critics, Apocalypto has many history inaccuracy they say but still if you are fan of Mel Gibson - a must see I guess.

300: Glorified violence. Even boring at times.
Apocalypto: This may or may not be propagandistic. Just don't give any heed and you have a got a great action flick.

In a similar context, Apocalypto is better. I meant so :)
@persephone
Yup. lets forget the historical importance for a while. Just think about how perfect Mel Gibson wanted the movie to be. Great work!

Apocalypto: I am not sure what Mel Gibson wanted to showcase here. I nearly slept... expeted a lot better from him.

@matts
You slept? I think you missed a good movie.
Mel Gibson wanted to create some noise around the movie for sure. He really wanted to justify the erradication of the entire Mayan culture. And tried to portray wrong historical theories by introducing europeans to the land in a wrong era etc., etc.
So basically he tried to sensationalize the movie just like he did for 'Passion of the Christ'. But couldn't succeed in it completely :)
