I prefer to think about Pak as the land
of Sufism and great poets. It's a dream to visit Hindukush ranges,
Swat valley, Peshawar....all those places I have heard so many stories
about.
if we talk about the unity in Indians it is since then when pakistan
was also the part of India, and moreover the hatred towards pakistan is not
due to the whole country ,it is towards some of the bad practices and acts
follwed there.
Terrorism? I don't eally think so. If they stop
supporting terrorists, will any of us start 'loving' pakistan? I don't
think so. It is just a part of our lives. not going to change.
Terrorism? I don't really think so. If they stop
supporting terrorists, will any of us start 'loving' pakistan? I don't
think so. It is just a part of our lives, not going to change.
ya ofcourse terrorism it is not only indians who are against pakistan
for the same reason but people of other countries too. I do not find any
reason other than terrorism and the bitter experiences due to terrorism.
Which makes pakistan to be hated by most of the peolple around the
world........Who knows if terrorism is stopped we might start loving
pakistan.. We do love other neighbouring countries and that is our culture
too....
@persephone - thats a nice way of looking at good things of Pakistan.
The tourism ad. for Pakistan, shown in CNN usually, amazes me - the beauty
of Pak they show in the clip. How I wish that we all will be able to
travel there one day without much fear! No doubt that if terrorism is under
good control - everyone will be touring pakistan.
@Arun - if not for
Kashmir issue & Terrorism based on that, I think Indo-Pak relationship will
be good.
@gees Kashmir is the sour spot for india-pak relations, sure. But, saying that 'we don't love Pak b'coz of terrorism' is like calling
urself an angel. Let those cast stone who didn't sin. What
rights do Indians have to put the blame on Pakistan? There is no
reason to believe that Indians are any more tolerant than Pakistanis. In
fact a hell lot of incidents that screams just the opposite.
"not for Kashmir issue & Terrorism based on that" I appreciate
the optimism people are showing. But, we cannot deny the reality. Kashmir
issue and terrorism ARE there now. If it were not there is another scenario
that we cannot think of now.
@persephone: Just to clarify... I did not say 'we don't love Pak
b'coz of terrorism' ?? I meant 'we dont love to tour Pak 'cos of fear of
terrorism.
@Arun: Well, there could be a change if things change
definitely - it was for your comment @ "If they stop supporting terrorists,
will any of us start 'loving' pakistan? I don't think so. It is just a part
of our lives. not going to change."
@gees Well, since the things are like this now, our attitude is
not going to change much if Pakistan changes its concepts towards terrorism
and Kashmir. We might celebrate on that day - that is another part of the
story. But, we have made certain assumptions about that country and the
people. In general, the mentality towads Pakistan is not going to change in
a great way.

In life there should be something makes you feel bad (without giving any harm to that 'something'). Isn't so? So, the obvious choice is Pak.

It is not a big philosophy. If you have an enemy, you will make strong bonds with somebody else - atleast with your own circle.
I really think hatred towards pakistan is the only 'thing' that unites indians (no. not cricket).
